FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
When do you update your shop and what kind of things will be available?
We have an online shop update around 6 -7 times a year. We notify people around 4 weeks before hand via Instagram, Facebook and through email to our subscribers. There is normally high demand for our work and our pottery tends to sell out quickly. With each update we try to offer a variety of items including dinner plates, side plates, snack plates, small & large bowls, cups and centerpieces items.
I put something in my basket and when I go to pay for it, it says its no longer available, why?
That is because someone else has purchased it in the meantime. When you put something in your cart it has not been held for you until you make a payment. We understand this can be frustrating but this is a system that is put in place to ensure people don’t just fill up their carts and stop others from browsing.
Do you do pre-orders?
It is not possible to pre-order our work.
Do you provide tableware for restaurants?
Yes, we love to make tableware for restaurants. If you’d like to work with us then please get in touch.
Do you do commissions?
We do occasionally take tableware commissions for private homes but only when the quantities are substantial.
Do you offer wholesale items?
We’re afraid we don’t have a wholesale offering.
How shall i take care of my pottery?
Our pottery is made from stoneware and porcelain clay. We use matte and shiny glazes made from natural ingredients like wood ashes. Our pottery is handmade and more fragile than factory produced pottery. We recommend taking extra care when packing it in the dishwasher. Our pottery can sometimes take on the color and stain from strongly pigmented foods. We have been dishwashing them and using them in the microwave for years in our own kitchen without any issues.

Can I visit your studio?
If you’d like to visit then please let us know via email, phone or Instagram and we can arrange an appointment. We will do our best to accommodate, although it’s not always possible. We have a small gallery situation within our pottery studio where pots are displayed for visitors and can be purchased. It’s important to note that our pottery studio is also our home and we ask visitors to take the signed pathway through the garden towards the studio.
If you have any other questions then please email us. Cheers! Steve and Alexis
